Stitched together? Really? Why the hell don't mine look like that.

This really is a beautiful image. The warped perspective, the grungy colour treatment, the moody skies all add up to a dark and surreal dreamscape that disturbs, yet at the same time invites you to explore deeper.

The cobbled street disappearing to the left should unbalance the picture, the line of sight running from there up to the alleyway but the exaggerated lean of the buildings are adding so much tension of their own it's just not a problem.

In fact the only (incredibly petty) negative I have is the unusual crop, not quite square but not a traditional 6:4 frame either. But then that really is a minor thing and i'm only saying it to try to hide the fact I can't think of anything non-gushing to say.
